BIRD TV는 브라질 리우데자네이루 출신의 안드레이 나베스가 만든 인기 유튜브 채널입니다. 안드레스는 어릴 적부터 새, 특히 앵무새에 깊은 매력을 느꼈습니다. 세월이 흐르며 이 열정은 진정한 전문성으로 발전했습니다. 그는 로젤라 돌연변이 품종 사육을 전문으로 하며, 조류 전시 대회 공인 심사위원이기도 합니다.
다양한 조류 종에 대한 호기심과 끊임없는 학습 욕구에 이끌려 안드레이는 브라질 전역의 조류 사육자들을 찾아다니기 시작했습니다.

2025년 10월, 안드레이는 방콕에서 열린 IAIC에 초청 연사로 참석했습니다. 첫 만남부터 우리는 즉시 공감대를 형성했습니다.
브라질에서 인도 링넥 사육에 대한 관심이 높아지면서, 그는 우리의 사육 센터를 방문하고 싶어 했고, 한국에서 우리와 이틀을 함께 보내기 위해 여행 일정을 조정했습니다.
11월 초라 아침은 꽤 쌀쌀했는데, 안드레이에게는 처음 겪는 경험이었습니다. 추운 날씨에도 불구하고 그는 우리의 사육시설과 새들의 크기 그리고 건강상태에 깊은 인상을 받았습니다.
그는 다양한 기후 속에서 일 년 내내 새들을 어떻게 관리하는지에 대해 큰 호기심을 보였습니다.
방문 기간 동안 안드레이는 상당한 시간을 사진 촬영과 영상 기록에 할애했으며, 그 결과물이 곧 방송될 BIRD TV 에피소드에 소개되기를 기대하고 있습니다.
또한 새 관리와 돌연변이 육종에 관한 아이디어를 교환하는 시간도 매우 유익했다.
다음날 이른 아침, 우리는 가평에 위치한 아마조나와 베고니아 새 공원을 방문했습니다. 안드레이에게 아마조나 같은 새 카페는 처음이었고, 자유비행장에서 사람들이 새들과 가까이 교감하는 모습은 깊은 인상을 남겼습니다.
전통 한국식 저녁 식사 후, 우리는 그를 버스 터미널까지 배웅했습니다. 다음날 그는 말레이시아로 향하는 새 관련 방문 일정을 이어갔습니다.

Have you ever heard of BIRD TV?
BIRD TV is a popular YouTube channel created by Andrey Naves from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From a young age, Andrey developed a deep fascination with birds—especially parrots. Over the years, this passion grew into true expertise. He specializes in breeding Rosella mutations and is also an accredited judge for bird exhibition contests.
Driven by curiosity and a constant desire to learn more about different bird species, Andrey began visiting bird breeders across Brazil. While spending time with these breeders, the idea emerged to share his experiences and knowledge with a wider audience. This idea eventually became BIRD TV.
Today, Andrey travels all over the world, meeting bird enthusiasts who are eager to showcase their collections and share their expertise. In recent years, he has visited breeders in more than 20 countries throughout the United States, Europe, India, Asia, and the Middle East.
In October 2025, Andres was invited as a guest speaker at the IAIC in Bangkok. From our very first meeting, we immediately connected. With the growing interest in Indian Ringneck breeding in Brazil, he was eager to visit our breeding center and adjusted his travel plans to spend two days with us in Korea.
As it was early November, the mornings were quite chilly—something Andrey was experiencing for the first time. Despite the colder temperatures, he was impressed by our aviaries and by the size and healthy condition of our birds. He showed great curiosity about how we manage our birds throughout the entire year in varying climates.
During his visit, Andrey spent considerable time taking photos and recording footage, and we are looking forward to seeing the results featured in an upcoming episode of BIRD TV. We also greatly enjoyed exchanging ideas on bird management and mutation breeding.
Early the next morning, we traveled to Gapyeong to visit Amazona and Begonia Bird Park. For Andrey, visiting a bird café like Amazona was a first, and seeing people interact closely with birds in a large aviary left a strong impression. After a traditional Korean dinner, we accompanied him to the bus terminal. The following day, he continued his journey to Malaysia for another bird-related visit.
